On Wednesday, March 25th, the Rensselaer County League of Women Voters visited Berlin High School seniors to teach them about voting rights and the importance of voting, and to assist with registering to vote. They provided information on the League’s history and helped students complete voter registration applications. They also offered guidance on where and when to vote, how to complete a ballot, and how to find information on proposals. This opportunity exemplifies Civics in action and aligns with New York State’s Seal of Civic Readiness. We appreciate their guidance and expertise. Thank you to the Rensselaer County League of Women Voters – Claudia Kavenagh, Diane Ohanian, Karen Maher, Audrey Hall Vanderhoef, and Christy Mabry Ferlito – for their time and expertise.
