SMITH Walk-A-Thon & Wellness Fair: May 16, 2026, 9 am – 1 pm!
The Wellness Fair will take place in the BMHS Gymnasium from 9 am – 1 pm. Come join us for family fun, local vendors, classes, and club booths, wellness organizations, food, games, Magician Mike, a silent auction, and much more! It’s sure to be a lively community event. Interested in being a VENDOR? Sign up today. The exhibitor space is free; however, we ask that you donate one of your vendor items to our student council silent auction table.

Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the SMITH Scholarship Fund and the Student Council account. Exhibitors may begin setting up at 8:00 am. SMITH Walk- A-Thon Registration 

 

 

 

We’re excited to invite students, families, and community members to participate in our Walk-A-Thon, a fun and inclusive event to raise money for our SMITH Scholarship!

This year, we’re transitioning from our traditional 5K to a Walk-A-Thon, making it easier for all ages and abilities to join in. Whether you walk one lap or one mile, it helps support our Scholarship for our students.

The Donations for the Walk-A-Thon will go to: The Berlin SMITH Scholarship -The SMITH Scholarship will go to a graduating Berlin student who demonstrates the following qualities:  Service-Merit-Integrity-Truth-Honor in honor of Bob Smith, a Berlin Graduate.

How it Works:

  • Participants walk a short loop for a set amount of time: Your choices are:
    • Inside the school building – 4 laps is a mile
    • Walk the track – 4 laps is a mile
    • Walk the 5K route, but you watch your own time/mileage
    • Virtually (the distance is up to you)
  • Walk at your own pace, no running or timing required
  • Participants collect donations or pledges – a minimum of $30 in donations to walk. Students are $15.
  • All participants will receive a gift
  • The top three participants who raised the most money will receive a gift card for Amazon
  • All donations must be submitted by May 16 

Event Highlights:

  • Music and a fun, positive atmosphere
  • Prizes and recognition for participation and fundraising
  • A great way to support our school while staying active

Donations –

Our run is funded and run by the Berlin Middle School Student Council, community donations, and volunteers.  All donations go directly to the SMITH Scholarship Fund. The minimum donation to run/walk is $30. Students are $15.
