Pre-K Mountaineers in Mrs. Lavoo and Mrs. Kiablick’s classroom have been exploring the joy of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities. The students recently created their own volcanoes to celebrate the letter V. Before the break, the Mountaineers created a Magic Milk experiment, creating hearts in it for Valentine’s Day. The Magic Milk experiment demonstrates the reaction between soap and fat, and by adding dish soap to milk, the students discovered that the soap molecules chase the fat molecules, creating a colorful explosion!
