On Monday, February 2nd, the BNL Varsity Girls Basketball team held their Senior Night, celebrating senior Anna Ward. Anna has been a huge part of the team this season with her determination and teamwork. Each time she takes the court, she has gotten stronger and more driven. She has been a positive contributor to the team and will be missed next season. Good luck, Anna, in the rest of your senior year and in your next chapter. The BNL Varsity Basketball team played an excellent first half against Chatham in their Senior Night game. The team played outstanding defense and kept the game close through the first half. With only six players, they lost a little ground in the third quarter, making it hard to recover against Chatham’s bigger bench. In the fourth quarter, the team took to the court, determined to hold their ground, and played a defensive game for the books. The team should be proud of the game they played; it was full of heart and hustle.
