During the first quarter of the school year, 8th-grade students in BMHS Technology Education teacher Mrs. Wetmore’s first and second period classes completed their Engineering Design projects, Pinewood Derby Cars. The students completed design sketches of their ideas, made their final choice, and brought their design into 3D modeling software, AutoDesk Inventor. They then fabricated their vehicles in the shop room and competed against each other in a Pinewood Derby race. The winners’ circle included Demi Kormos, Shea Bell, and Alaina DeClair.
