HVCC Uniquely Abled Academy Summer Camp Opportunity!
The Sparkforce Manufacturing Bootcamp is a summer camp for those with disabilities who may have an interest in the manufacturing industry. Hands-on training in manufacturing skills is provided over three weeks with a focus on basic instruction in CAD/CAM and CNC machining techniques as well as other techniques. Although the flyer indicates the camp is just for those with autism, individuals with other intellectual disabilities may be considered. Students must be able to operate hand tools and machinery and follow safety protocols.
