On February 12th, the Berlin High School Music Department hosted their annual Pops Concert. The night featured the Berlin High School Band, Chorus, Chamber Choir, and several solo performances. It was a lively evening with great performances by the high school band, chorus, and chamber choir that showcased the talented Mountaineers. The evening was hosted by senior Katherine Dundas, whose enthusiasm and lighthearted approach kept the concert full of laughs and created a relaxed environment for Mountaineers to perform in the solo and duet portion of the concert. The Pops Concert is a wonderful evening and opportunity for students to experience performing solos in front of an engaged and supportive crowd. This can be a daunting experience for many, and it is extraordinary to see the bravery and talent that takes to the Mountaineer stage during the concert. Congratulations to all who performed throughout the evening, and thanks to BMHS Principal Mr. Bernsley and BHS Global Studies teacher Mr. Gould for being great sports and participating in one of the chorus performances.
Berlin Middle High School’s Band Director and Music teacher Mrs. Gould and Choral and Chamber Choir Director Mrs. Modesitt were filled with pride for their students’ remarkable courage and talent.
Go Mountaineers!
