The “Artist of the Month” award is a High School level award for our most dedicated students in The Visual Arts. These students are often the most academically successful because of great effort on their pieces and devotion to their craft.
The December Artist of the Month is…..Julia Schoeffel (Grade 10)!
Julia is a skilled artist who works tirelessly at her craft, coming in each day ready to work. In Intermediate Studio, she is inching her way out of her comfort zone by starting an oil painting. Her graphite drawing “Sonder” was entered into the Scholastic Art Awards this year, awards which will be announced in a few months. We can’t wait to see what you create next, Julia! Congratulations!
