As we come to the end of the 2022-2023 academic year Berlin Middle High School’s Principal Brownell has written a letter to all BMHS families regarding Regents and end of year schedules for students in grades 6-12. This letter will also be emailed home to all families.

Dear Parents/Guardians:
As we set our sights on the finish line for this academic year, below you will find the Regents and end of year schedules for students in grades 6-12. This year the Board of Regents has decided to administer the new United States History Regents exam on Thursday, June 1st. To create the most optimal testing environment for our students, we will run a regular day for all students in grades 6-8, but will only have students in grades 9-12 come to the building if they are taking the USH Regents or a Geometry practice Regents exam.
For any student in grades 9-12 taking a morning Regents exam, the district will provide transportation in the morning at the normal time. For any student in grades 9-12 taking only an afternoon Regents exam, the district is offering another bus run that will arrive at the school at approximately 11:20 a.m. If your child has extended time for testing and needs transportation home, arrangements will be made by the district.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, June 20th and June 21st, the Geometry and Algebra II Regents will not begin until 9:40a.m. to provide an additional opportunity for students to review with their teachers. Students taking these exams should report to school at the normal time of 7:50a.m.
Additionally, the last day for all students 7-12 will be Tuesday, June 13th. Only students taking a Regents exam will report to school between the dates of June 14th-June 22nd. All 6th grade students will have full days of school until Friday, June 16th and then will only have half days on June 20-23.
