David Pynchon

On Tuesday, April 25th, three members of the Waterbrook Potter’s Studio in Watervliet came in as Visiting Artists for an in-house “Field Trip.” Colleen Skiff, David Pynchon and Susan Nowogrodzki shared their expertise on the Potter’s Wheel, handbuilding techniques and surface decoration tips with Mrs. Colbert’s High School Ceramics class, as well as other interested HS art students who signed up to view this presentation. Students then went into traveling stations to try some things out on their own. We thank these Potters for generously volunteering their time to spend this afternoon with our Mountaineer Artists! -Mrs. Colbert
