NYS Youth Art Month continues with a spotlight on BES’ Kindergarten and 1st Grade Artists!

Kindergarten and 1st Grade Art students have been exploring a unit on color theory.

They created fabulous fish with warm and cool color families. Students started with a teacher directed step by step drawing for the fish. Then, they practiced their new knowledge of the warm and cool color families experimenting with watercolor techniques. The student’s artwork is currently on display in the BES main lobby. – BES Art Teacher Mrs. MacDonald
