The Berlin High School Materials Processing class experienced the real-world application of metal manufacturing at Zwack, Inc. Zwack is an innovative manufacturing company located in Stephentown NY, where custom fabrication of parts for local, national as well as global companies are manufactured.
Ms. Wetmore’s students were able to tour the manufacturing floor, meet machinists and observe the fabrication process first hand.
Mr. Frank Zwack and Mr. Joe Zwack also spoke to the students about the different job opportunities their line of work offers from welding to machine coding. The students were able to experience what they are studying in class on a much larger scale and see what a continuation in this field of study could lead to.
Thank you Ms. Wetmore and Zwack, Inc. for offering this opportunity to the Mountaineers.
