To All Families of Athletes,
There will be a meeting on August 23 at 6 pm in the Berlin MSHS Auditorium. This meeting is for ALL JV & Varsity BNL student-athletes and their parents/guardians. The student-athlete and parent/guardian meeting for Modified levels will be on September 7 at 5:30 pm.
Your ADs will review some basic information and expectations and the Booster Club will discuss how you can be involved in assisting the sports programs.
We will review several aspects of the code of conduct for Athletes and expectations for families. A parent/guardian will need to sign off that they were in attendance at this event. You will not be able to attend games without having been exposed to this information. One family member is sufficient per athlete. We want to be sure that everyone understands the expectations of athletes, families, and fans.
There will be Meet the Coaches meetings with each team immediately following the larger meeting. There, each coach will go over his/her expectations and plan for the season.
If you are not able to attend this evening, please contact your schools AD to make other arrangements.
Tryouts for Fall Sports will take place on the following dates/times/locations:
Boys JV/V Soccer- Aug 22, 23, 24 from 8:00 am-10:30 am at Berlin Elementary School
Girls JV/V Soccer- Aug 22, 23, 24 from 8:00 am-11:00 am at Berlin MSHS
Girls JV/V Volleyball- Aug 22, 23, 24 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm at Berlin MSHS
Boys and Girls HS Cross Country- Aug 22, 24, 25, 26 from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. Aug 23 will have practice at 4:00 pm, all at Berlin MSHS.
Further practice times/locations will be provided by each sports coach.
