On Thursday, June 16th, the 6th Grade Class went on a field trip to the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. The day consisted of good conversations about how art, and the work of Rockwell, has shaped history, which happened to be the Project-Based Learning theme for 6th grade this year. Students viewed the infamous work of Rockwell, as well as other illustrative exhibitions. They even got to visit inside of Rockwell’s studio where he made his pieces! -Mrs. Colbert and the 6th Grade Team
