BNL Varsity & JV Basketball Team Highlight
On Saturday, December 11, the Varsity and JV Girls Basketball teams attended a clinic with Tay Fisher and it was nothing short of amazing! We’ve made plans for him to come back on December 20th and are requesting a schedule change so that we can be at WBH from 3:30-5:30. Thanks again to the BNL Booster Club for their support in bringing Tay’s program in.

BNL Wrestling vs Greenville 12/9
Thursday the Berlin – New Lebanon Wrestlers took on Greenville and came up a bit short losing 48 – 12. Highlights were wins by Team Captains Matt Kluck and Jesse Cameron. Matt pinned his wrestler early in the third period after dominating throughout the match. For the 2nd time this week Jesse took on a heavyweight right at the maximum of the weight class, 285 pounds. That’s a 50 pound difference. But Jesse threw him for a pin in :14 seconds. New 138 pounder Conner Sniger lasted longer than expected against an opponent that placed 8th in the last state tournament. On Modified, Juli Maldonado wrestled her first matches. Most first matches last about :20 seconds before the new wrestler is pinned. Juli made it all the way through one match, only losing on points. And in her other match wasn’t pinned until the last :10 seconds. A very good showing for a new wrestler. Our wrestlers next take on Granville at home on Thursday Dec. 16th.
