BNL Boys Modified Soccer vs. Waterford 10/13

The boys modified soccer team won their first game of the season at Waterford on Wednesday. After coming out a little flat, the boys got their energy back, fighting back from being down 1-0 all game, scoring 2 goals in the last quarter to win. Lukas Zuke scored the first goal with Zeke Colin putting in the game winner! Jack Healy continued his strong season in goal, adding a penalty kick save to his resume. The entire team showed resilience and fight. Great game boys! Come out to watch the team TONIGHT against Saratoga Catholic!

BNL Boys JV  Soccer vs. Waterford 10/13

The boys JV soccer team played Waterford to a draw for 65 minutes until the Fordians were able to score on a corner kick. Kristjon Culbertson  had a nearly flawless afternoon in goal with 14 saves. BNL kicked it up a gear with 15 minutes left, but was unable to get the ball in the back of the net. Every player had an outstanding game working as a well oiled machine against a physical and older Waterford team.

BNL Girls Modified Volleyball vs Saratoga Central Catholic 10/13

Girls modified volleyball traveled to Saratoga Central last night for a rematch. We weren’t able to duplicate our previous victory but we played great volleyball. Our passing and volleying was fantastic. Charlie Young was the A team player of the game with several amazing digs. The B team’s sole setter, Amaya Brown, was the player of the game for her team due to her flawless 5-1 rotation.  The girls will play 2 matches at Tamarac on Monday.  Our B team hopes to replicate their previous success and our A team intends on delivering a redeeming performance. Hope to see you there!

BNLGirls Varsity Volleyball vs Saratoga Central Catholic 10/13

The BNL Girls Varsity Volleyball team celebrated Senior Night on Wednesday, October 13th. The team fought hard but lost in three sets to Saratoga Central Catholic. It was a great Senior Night celebration with a lot of family, fans and former BNL volleyball players in attendance. The girls played well but just couldn’t get the win although it was not for a lack of trying. I want to congratulate my three seniors Acsha Bray (3 years on Varsity), Macayla Roberts (4 years on Varsity) and Bailey Catlin (4 years on Varsity). Good luck to you all! I am gonna miss you!

BNL Girls JV  Soccer vs Hoosic Valley 10/14

Last night the girls JV soccer team played their best game of the season against Hoosic Valley. Outstanding defensive play by Britney Barto, Ashlee Evans and Claudia Stickles.  Sam Pierce and Madison Bell each scored a goal.  It was a great way to end the  season.  Bersch and I look forward to next season.

The JV Girls had a great time at the end of season Tye Dye and Potluck Party. See some photos in the album below.
