BNL Modified Girls Volleyball vs. Saratoga Catholic 9/17

Friday night the girls modified volleyball team faced a small, but mighty Saratoga Catholic team at home. The B team started it off with a great first game. Amaya Brown had an awesome game as a 1st time setter with Holly White. The B team won 25-22. The A team started the 2nd set with 5 quick points by Haven Ramos. Jaezsa Bartolotta had great communication with her teammates and was awarded player of the game. The A team won 25-14. Overall great sets by both teams. We will play again tonight in Stillwater. Spectators are welcome!

BNL JV Girls Volleyball vs. Taconic Hills
On Friday, September 17, the JV volleyball girls went head to head with Spa Catholic. Despite being on a bus for 1.5 hours and having very little time to warmup we nearly won the first game. There was not a single player on the court who didn’t do something special. They better be scared to come to us because we will be ready!

BNL Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Taconic Hills Coach Recap
The boys from Taconic Hills came north on a beautiful late summer night for a game against Berlin- New Lebanon Varsity Soccer team. Danny Hunt scored in the first half breaking free on the right side of the midfield and knocked one in. Both teams came out after halftime with a lot of passion and purpose, after trading a few fouls and direct kicks, Danny Hunt scored again on a direct kick from about 25 yards out, the kind of goal that will be talked about among this band of brothers for a very very long time. In the last 10 minutes of the game Wyatt Powers put in the 3rd BNL goal to ice the game. Some great shifts put in from many players; Gabe Hart, Matt Hart, Krisjon Culbertson, Dylan Saviano, Forest Chaput, Garret Votra, Ben Chaput, Liam Buckenroth, Jacob Brazie, and Matt Corsey all played critical minutes in the game. It was a true team win. The secretary of defense, Kevin Chitternan made many impressive saves in the goal.
