On August 7, volunteers from the Berlin/New Lebanon Athletics community devoted their Saturday to cleaning up the Berlin cross country trail.
“It was a joint effort by both schools, with Berlin and New Lebanon athletes, coaches, and parents joining in to lend a hand,” said Berlin Athletic Director Charles Paravella, who was part of the crew.
“I would like to thank the BNL Booster Club and their president, Ms. Kristi Culbertson, for providing the trail clearing crew with lunch, and Mr. Gene Kluck for planning the overall project for the day.”
Berlin Superintendent, Mr. Dhara, also participated in the day’s effort
“Thank you to, Mr. Paravella and Cross Country coaches, Mr. Erik Viner and Ms. Addy Kelly, for their support and for engaging some of their cross country student-athletes to help,” said Superintendent Dhara.
“Thank you also to BCSD board members, Ms. Sherry Kluck and Mr. Trevor Jewett, and Booster Club President, Ms. Kristi Culbertson, for organizing community and parent volunteers to assist on this day.”
BNL Cross Country hopes to see you out there cheering them on this season.
