Mrs. Gilbert is excited to report that this year’s Berlin SMITH Scholarship 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on May 1st was a success. Thank you to the local community who ran and raised over $2,800 for the scholarship this year. Simultaneously a virtual “Smitty’s Run” was organized by Bob’s life-long friend, Travis Mahaffey. Supporters from England to Mexico ran and raised $2,300 for the Berlin SMITH Scholarship.
It was a great way to come together again as a community for a wonderful cause.
