In only COVID form, the NLB swim team did not actually swim on February 19th – the team used their times from a previous meet to go against Wahconah. The NLB Girls’ came out on top while Wahconah took the Boys’ meet.
The NLB Girls’ were lead by Alex Sotek, Allison Slater and Rilynn Jones, who came in first place in all of their races (2 individual and 2 relays). Carol Kirsimagi also had a strong meet coming in first place in all but one of her races (second only to her teammate Allison in the 500 Free).
For the boys, Wahconah was lead by Jacob Kunzmann, who placed first in all of his races. Big time contributors were Zach Archambault, Evan Strout and Xavier Wellington who placed first or second in all of their races.
NLB tried to keep it close with great swims by Riley Schwartz, Matt Kluck, Liam Buckenroth, who placed first or second in their races respectively.
