To help ensure families have access to free meals over the summer, Berlin CSD would like to share information about local summer food programs.

Eastwick Press Building in Grafton

Rensselaer County provides a free food program through the summer for those 18-years-old and under at the Eastwick Press building (former Grafton Elementary School) at the corner of NY Route 2 and Babcock Lake Road for the lunch and afternoon snack portion of the program.

The program runs Monday through Friday starting Monday, July 13. Free lunches can be picked up from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Snacks can be picked up between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. as well as the lunch hour.

No documentation or proof of residency is required. There will be a well-marked drive up window where food will be handed out. The number of lunches available will equal the amount of children in the household.

For more information, contact Doug La Rocque at 518-491-1613.
