Dear Berlin CSD Parents/Guardians,
Students who qualify for free and reduced meals will have breakfast and lunch automatically delivered by the Berlin Central School District. These meals will be delivered on Mondays and Wednesdays by BCSD’s transportation department.
Delivery will begin Wednesday, March 18th between 10 am and 12 pm and will include lunch for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and breakfast for Thursday and Friday. Parents and/or students will need to be available at their normal school bus pickup location.
Students who do not qualify for free or reduced meals may opt in to receive delivered meals. Those students who opt in are responsible for the cost of the meals. These meals will be charged to your child’s account. Payment can be made at www.myschoolbucks.com or sending in payment via the US Postal Service.
If you are a family who qualifies for free or reduced meals and wish to opt out of receiving meals, OR a family who wishes to opt in to receive meals, please contact Tammy Whitman, Food Service Director, via email at twhitman@berlincentral.org or by phone at (518) 658-1500, option 8, ext. 1022. Please leave the full name of each student and your contact information.
Beginning next week, there will be two delivery days per week, Mondays and Wednesdays.
On Monday, March 23, meals will be delivered which will include lunch for Monday and Tuesday and breakfast for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Meals delivered on Wednesday, March 25, will include lunch for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and breakfast for Thursday and Friday.
These meals will include all of the components of a Federal School Lunch Reimbursable Meal.
