Berlin CSD is excited to welcome Caroline Testa to the district. Learn more about our new School Counselor for grades 6-12 in her own words.

What is your education background?
After graduating High School, I went to Dutchess Community College for two years to get my associate’s degree in Human Services. After I transferred to Binghamton University and received my bachelor’s degree in Human Development. Recently, I just graduated this past May with my Master’s in School Counseling from The College of Saint Rose!

What is your background like – previous jobs?
I’ve always been a part of the helping field, some of my previous jobs have been lifeguarding, being a 1:1 TA at Anderson Center for Autism, and (currently) teaching yoga.

Tell us about your family?
I come from a relatively small family.  I am the youngest of the family and I have an older brother who now lives in Texas. Originally, I am from downstate NY (Dutchess County), where my family still resides.

What are your interests outside of school?
Aside from practicing and teaching yoga in my free time, I love being outside, especially to go hiking. A goal of mine has always been to hike all 46 peaks in the ADKs!
