Dear BES Families,
In our ongoing efforts to improve safety for our students, we have revised our parent pick up procedure for the end of the day. These changes will improve safety and also keep our hallways clear so that students may safely exit to buses.
We kindly ask that you send a note to school or call the Main Office by 2:00 pm if you are planning to pick up your child from school. The Main Office gets very busy at the end of the day. All students must be signed out at the Main Office. There are clipboards located just outside the office door for this purpose.
Our school day ends at 3:00 pm. Please be sure to pick up your child at this time. Upon arrival to school, please sign out your child on the clipboard and enter the parent pick up line. There will be a designated area clearly labeled for this purpose. Students who are being picked up will report to the gym to wait with a teacher. Staff members will dismiss your child to you from the gym.
All drop offs and pick ups must be done at the front entrance to the building. Cars are not permitted behind the building during school hours for safety reasons.
