As most of you already know, Ms. Lazarony retired at the end of last year. This summer, we have welcomed Ms. Caroline Testa as the newest counselor in the counseling office. Ms. Testa is a graduate from The College of Saint Rose, where she earned her Masters in School Counseling and is excited to join the Berlin MS/HS Team!
This transition brings new opportunities, ideas, and anticipation for the new school year. Moving forward, we will no longer operate as one MS and one HS counselor, but we will be splitting the alphabet (A-I and J-Z), grades 6-12. This gives us both the opportunity to follow students from sixth grade through high school graduation, develop stronger relationships with students and families, and ultimately we believe this will provide even more support for academic, social and emotional success throughout middle school and high school than before.
