student dressed as elvisOn Wednesday, June 19, fifth graders at Berlin Elementary School, participated in a Living Wax Museum Biography Project. Students were responsible for choosing a historical or famous person to research and take notes about their lives. Students were encouraged to organize their notes in chronological order and use relevant information based on what the figure is most known for.

When the Wax Museum opened the students became “wax figures” as other grade levels, BES staff and the community were invited in to press individual buzzers to listen to and learn about the historical/famous people. The museum was an instant hit and was highly engaging for all age levels. Congratulations, fifth graders!
