The Olympics of the Visual Arts (OVA) is a K-12 state competition put on by the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) to encourage creative problem solving and collaboration.

This year’s competition was in Saratoga Springs on April 4. Four teams from Berlin High School participated. All teams exhibited their long-term pieces, as well as completed an on-the-spot task for additional points that day.

Mrs. Colbert (MS/HS Art Educator and OVA coordinator) is proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication! All OVA pieces are on display in the main hall at the Middle-High School. Come check them out in person! Berlin CSD participates in OVA annua lly. More information about NYSATA’s OVA can be found here.
