Berlin CSD is partnering with local, state and federal agencies to host a film screening of Chasing the Dragon on Wednesday, June 6 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Heart Theater in Berlin, NY.

Community members, parents and middle school to college-age youth are invited to attend.

United to Fight It: Preventing Substance Abuse Presents the film Chasing the Dragon

Viewer discretion advised. The film contains strong language and graphic images.

The film is intended to educate community members, parents, and middle school to college age youth about the dangers of addiction and how to avoid them. This event is open to the entire community and surrounding areas.

Followed by an interactive panel discussion with representation from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office, local law enforcement agencies, local first responders, prevention educators, addiction and recovery specialists, family members of those affected and individuals in recovery. A facilitator from the U.S. Attorney’s Office will guide the discussion through the progression of addiction as well as the community’s response and resources for it.
