First Grade Students Create Presentations Using Google Slides

Stephanie Henry’s first grade students presented their projects on sea creatures to third grade students. First graders spent a month working collaboratively in small groups. Students used Chromebooks as well as other resources such as nonfiction texts and articles to gather information. They created their presentations using Google Slides. When the presentations were done, third graders asked some very thoughtful questions about the presentations they had seen and about the process the first-grade students used to create their presentations.
