FAFSA Night – November 30th, 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Berlin High School

On Thursday, November 30, Ronni Jones, Associate Director of Financial Aid from Hudson Valley Community College and Berlin School Counselor Rachel Harrison will be here to assist with questions regarding financial aid and to offer assistance in completing the FAFSA application on the spot. This promises to be a very important and helpful information session regarding financial aid for your child applying to college in the fall of 2018.

For this session you will need to bring your 2016 federal tax returns, W2 forms and social security numbers for student and parents. You should also have other income information (child support, worker comp, social services, etc.) The FAFSA also asks for current assets (cash, savings & checking; net worth of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, Certificates of deposit; and net worth of a business that has more than 100 employees.)

We realize completing this application can seem overwhelming and confusing which is why we are here to help. In order for us to prepare, if you are interested in attending, we are asking that you RSVP. Please contact the Counseling Office at 658-1500, extension 1070.
