Bob Davis with Mr. Toole and his AP Environmental Science class

After hatching trout eggs in Mr. Toole’s Advanced Placement Environmental Science class, students successfully released the young fish in the Little Hoosick River on May 15. They completed the project through the Trout in the Classroom program.

Over the course of the school year, the AP students studied trout development and aspects of water quality. They also brought a bucket of river water back to the classroom for further study.

The class was joined by Bob Davis, a local volunteer for the Home-Waters Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
