Due to their performance in MasterMinds and the National History Bowl this season, the Varsity MasterMinds team received a wildcard invitation to the NAQT (National Academic Quiz Tournament)
Small Schools National Championship in Chicago, Illinois on April 28-30, 2017.
The tournament is invitation only and consists of the 96 best quiz bowl teams in the nation from public schools with fewer than 500 students (Grades 9-12). Our team consists of two advisers–Mr. Christian and Ms. Overocker–and five students: Ryan Mears, Alex Flowers, Vincent Scott, Andrew Shoemaker and Ioann Popov.
