On Friday, January 13, the entire middle school went to Bennington, VT to see the movie “Hidden Figures.” This movie is based on a true story about three brilliant African American female mathematicians who worked at NASA in the 1960s. These three women were the brains behind the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, which was a turning point in the Space Race with the Soviet Union.
“Hidden Figures” was an inspiring movie and students enjoyed the opportunity to see it.
