Third grade students recently emulated artist, scientist, and inventor Leonardo Da Vinci by observing a cactus and recording their observations in Ms. Monette’s art class. Students drew detailed drawings with labels pointing to plant parts and wrote notes about what they noticed, what the cactus reminded them of and why it is like that.
