families & students working on problems sitting in a classroom during math nightBES families enjoyed a family fun night at the elementary school on Thursday, October 20. PreK-5 grade students played games to strengthen their math skills and enjoyed learning new number facts associated with U.S. presidents and the White House. At each grade level, students were given a “mathbook” with clues to solve, visited the library to research number facts about presidents, the election and the White House.  Students completed the activity by casting their vote.  Thank you to our high school students and all our volunteers for making this event such a success!
