Students at Berlin Elementary School participated in a character education assembly on Friday, October 14. The character word for the month is “Responsibility.” Teachers spoke with students about how to be responsible by having good habits. Third grade students presented the seven habits to make you become a happy, responsible student. The seven habits are:
- Be proactive – You’re in charge
- Begin with the end in mind
- Put first things first – First Work, then play
- Think win win, Everyone can win
- Seek first to understand, then be understood
- Synergize – Together Is better
- Sharpen the saw – Balance feels best
