2020 Board Candidates

This year, there are two open seats on the BCSD Board of Education and there are two candidates running for office.

Frank J. Zwack

I am a lifelong resident of Stephentown, graduate of Berlin Central School, Hudson Valley Community College, and Union College. Board member for the Berlin School District, Board member of Questar III and Tech Valley High School Board and member of the Stephentown Fire Departments. My current occupation is in mechanical engineering and management of our family business located in Stephentown.

Continuing as a Board member allows me to share the lifelong skills and experiences I have gained, including working with the various colleges and businesses that support our District and especially our students. Decision making takes time, you need to be informed, and sometimes it becomes hard –- especially when the outcome is favorable to some and not others –- but it must always advance the best interests of the District. I look forward to completion of a current Board projects for a District while looking at future Educational Opportunities
.
Degrees in Production Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, New York State Fire Schools, General Electric Continuing Education, business skills used daily in the family business, and a strong working knowledge of the Berlin Central School District

Thank you for your support.
