Update: Capital District YMCA School-Age Childcare
Now Covers “Essential” Workers, New Locations, a Daily
Rate — Financial Assistance Offered!

The Capital District YMCA has extended care to cover “essential” workers. In addition to licensed health professionals, there are many other “essential” workers. For the complete list, please check here. Financial assistance is available – no family will be turned away from this program.

Berlin Central School District families who qualify for this resource can make arrangements directly with the YMCA. Families in the northern portion of the BCSD can go to Hoosick Falls School District and families in the central and southern part of the district can go to East Greenbush. If you are interested in the Hoosick Falls site please fill out this SURVEY AND contact the YMCA so they can determine the extent of need at this location.

Parents/guardians must contact the YMCA and complete the forms, paperwork and payment on their own. Online registration can be found at: www.CDYMCA.org/EmergencyChildcare. Emergency personnel needing care are also welcome to call the Capital District YMCA at 518.869.3500.
