Berlin Middle-High School held the 2019 National Honor and National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony on Monday, April 29. Principal Dr. Cathie Allain welcomed the current members, new inductees and their families to the evening’s ceremonies.
Current honor society members spoke about the four pillars of the Taconic Valley chapter: character, leadership, scholarship and service. Advisors Ms. Karen Day and Mrs. Stephanie Hover then introduced the current and new members of the Honor Society.
The Honor Society’s objective is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, promote leadership, stimulate a desire to offer service and encourage the development of good character in students. Superintendent Dr. Stephen Young closed the ceremony by leading the current and new members in the induction pledge.
